Primary sources of Kenyan law

• kenyalaw.org — The official portal of the National Council for Law Reporting. Full text of the Constitution, the Acts of Parliament, the subsidiary legislation, and the published judgments of the superior courts. The standard against which every citation on this platform may be verified.
• The Kenya Gazette — The official record of statutory notices, appointments, and government publications.
• parliament.go.ke — The official site of the National Assembly and the Senate. Bills, Hansard, committee reports.

Engaging an advocate

• The Law Society of Kenya — The professional body for admitted advocates. Maintains the public directory used by the platform for referrals.

Free legal assistance

• The National Legal Aid Service — Established under the Legal Aid Act, No. 6 of 2016 to provide free legal assistance to qualifying applicants. Toll free line: 0800 720 640.
• Kenya National Commission on Human Rights (KNCHR) — The statutory commission protecting human rights. Handles complaints of human rights violations by state actors.

Data protection

• Office of the Data Protection Commissioner — The supervisory authority under the Data Protection Act, Cap. 411C. Receives complaints from data subjects.
